It was sooo nice, staff is wonderful and I highly recommend this location for your Wedding or Bar/Bat Mitzvah. There are two large event rooms, a fantastic hall for cocktails with great artwork to look at and a gorgeous courtyard, also perfect for cocktails but also for wedding ceremonies. There's a build in gazebo which would work great for a Chuppah as well. You should definately check this out and tell them I sent you. I just went to their grand re-opening and saw all of their offerings available and was blown away. Very versatile and unique. The location is beautiful, the staff were very efficient and accommodating and friendly and the food was outstanding! I can't say enough good things about the Prime Rib! I had the crab cakes and the other selections were salmon and prime rib. Those who had it said that it was cooked to perfection and delicious. I highly recommend The Prime Rib! In 2011, Abington Art Center is proud to introduce two new venues. The Little Abington Meetinghouse is a recently restored 1836 Quaker meetinghouse that exudes simple elegance and historic charm. And, for the first time, the Sculpture Park stage is available to rent for your own concert or special event.

On April 1, 2011, we bought the Woodside Lodge, formerly known as the Woodside Inn and The Woodside Manor. The 14,000-square-foot building containing a restaurant, bar, commercial kitchen, and 20 bedrooms is located on three-plus acres in Schwenksville, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania. Our intention is to preserve this historically significant structure while complementing our existing business at Spring Mountain Ski Area --- just over the mountain. Rick and Gayle Buckman, owners of this revived Spring Mountain ski lodge, have a history with saving history! They raised their 4 children and cared for over 70 foster children in their renovated 1760's farmhouse in Perkiomenville, PA. In 1999, they heard that the old Spring Mountain Ski Area was going to be purchased by a developer and that the quaint buildings, ski lifts, and runs would be razed for housing. After learning to ski at Spring Mountain, along with thousands of others in the surrounds communities, and opening their first Buckman’s Ski Shop to share their love of the sport with others, the Buckman family was compelled to try to save the recreation area. I spoke with the chef and his wife and they are a really lovely couple who wants to make your event special.
